Hailing from the sun-kissed shores of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Jalisa Ann is a rising star gracing the runways of Women's Fashion and Design Week (WFDW) with her vibrant brand, Good Fruite.
Her passion for fashion ignited in her youth, leading her to the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles. There, under the tutelage of industry veterans like Heather Franco and Janie Marshall, she honed her skills, absorbing knowledge like a sponge.
Driven by her cultural heritage and a burning desire to express her artistic vision, Jalisa took a leap of faith and launched Good Fruite. More than just clothing, Jalisa's creations are wearable art, each piece infused with the rhythmic beat of her Caribbean roots and the essence of her life experiences.
Jalisa's journey is as captivating as the designs she creates. A graduate of FIDM with a major in Merchandise Product Development, she has over ten years of experience in various aspects of the fashion industry, including marketing, brand development, product development, and design.
The Wonder Woman Initiative is thrilled to be showcasing her work at WFDW, Jalisa draws inspiration from life and her vibrant culture. "I can't wait to share my perspective through my wearable art!" she enthuses.
