Updated: Mar 3

This March, Women's History Month takes on a new dimension with the groundbreaking Women's Fashion and Design Week (WFDW). This isn't just another fashion show; it's a transformative platform where creativity meets social responsibility, amplifying women's voices and driving positive change.

More than just runway shows, WFDW is a platform for voices that matter. Witness stories unfold through stunning designs by industry trailblazers like Melony Huber of La Peony Clothing, Tayo Ishola Aranmolate of I Am Eido, Sophie Lee of Ira Swim, Patrica Edwards of Patzazz Styling, Ashlee’ Monroe of Moluxe, Melissa Ledezma of House Twenty Two, Jalisa Ann of Good Fruite, Ni’cole Simms of Coles Contour Boutique, Aryea Kolubah of Aryea Kolubah & Co., and Mara Novembre of Allure Novembre. Additionally, witness the designs of rising stars like Vivian Odoemenem of Nerdy Couture and Oluwadunsin Bolaji of DunsinCraft Collection from Nigeria, both winners of the Wonder Woman Initiative's "Sew it Forward" project. Beyond the trends, these visionary designers are pushing boundaries in sustainability, conscious fashion, and community empowerment, leaving a lasting impact on the world.

“Life throws curveballs, but what if we caught them with grace? At Women's Fashion and Design Week, we ditch the fight-or-flight and embrace a bolder response: rest, renewal, and creation. This is the design journey we propose – one fueled by restorative moments and audacious creativity. At Women's Fashion & Design Week, we invite people to witness inspiring stories of those who have risen by design. Immerse themselves in the journey of designing for a better world and encounter trailblazers who architect ecosystems of positive impact.” - Tayo Ishola Aranmolate (Founder, Wonder Woman Initiative)
